Brandon Tani is an interdisciplinary artist based in San Diego, California.    His work seeks to find an intimate connection to the “hidden witness” which is performed, found, and captured in the space of a determinative encounter. He is drawn to what feels real and every day; to hold in it that which is both common and unique at once. Retracing those narratives through extrinsic lenses and larger concepts, simultaneously sacred and routine. He is particularly interested in working with field recording, electroacoustic practices, and post-documentary photography.    A stillness always at hand.
